A speech professor at Michigan State University, Paul D. Bagwell served as head of their Department of Communication, 1954-1955. He graduated from the University of Akron in 1937 and received his Master of Arts Degree from University of Wisconsin in 1938. A resident of Grosse Pointe Park, Mr. Bagwell became a member of the Speech Association of America in 1938 and served as executive vice-president for three years.
